class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW264486669 BCX4\" data-ccp-charstyle=\"apple-converted-space\">\u202f<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW264486669 BCX4\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW264486669 BCX4\" data-ccp-charstyle=\"normaltextrun\">laughed when<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW264486669 BCX4\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW264486669 BCX4\" data-ccp-charstyle=\"apple-converted-space\">\u202f\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW264486669 BCX4\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW264486669 BCX4\" data-ccp-charstyle=\"normaltextrun\">she gave the wrong answers.\u202f Retirement, when it came, was a blessing.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" data-ccp-charstyle=\"normaltextrun\">Janet visited her Doctor who assured<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" data-ccp-charstyle=\"apple-converted-space\">\u202f her that<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" data-ccp-charstyle=\"normaltextrun\">\u00a0her mind was OK, but what she was\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" data-ccp-charstyle=\"apple-converted-space\">\u202fexperiencing was in fact hearing loss<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" data-ccp-charstyle=\"normaltextrun\">. Janet was referred<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" data-ccp-charstyle=\"apple-converted-space\">\u202f for an<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" data-ccp-charstyle=\"normaltextrun\">\u00a0audiology appointment and after a wait she was fitted with a hearing aid.\u202f<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span Everything was amplified and my ears\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" data-ccp-charstyle=\"apple-converted-space\">\u202f<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" data-ccp-charstyle=\"advancedproofingissue\">actually hurt<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" data-ccp-charstyle=\"normaltextrun\">.\u202f&#8221;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" data-ccp-charstyle=\"normaltextrun\">After returning to the audiologist things improved for Janet.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" data-ccp-charstyle=\"normaltextrun\">&#8220;The audiologist was very good and after some adjustments it was better.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW69915039 BCX4\" lang=\"EN-GB\" magnifiers.\u202f&#8221;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">&#8220;A loop system for the TV has made listening easier and a loud vibrating<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">door bell<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">lets me know when someone is at the door.&#8221;\u202f\u202f<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Help is out there and there is a lot you can learn yourself to make life easier.
