Hartlepool Borough Council is a key partner with Hi-VisUK in the development of a new pioneering co-production model for identification and support of older people living with dual sensory loss.

This is one of our strategic capacity building programmes, initiated by our sister project – In Good Hands.

Training participants from all walks of life – community fire services, ambulance services, police, NHS, care homes, day centres, local authority services, libraries, care and carer organisations, older people’s organisations, Healthwatch, CABx, volunteer bureaus, local community pharmacies, GP practices and many more. We are quite literally thrilled by the commitment in Hartlepool and the amazing possibilities for applying this co-production approach in areas right across the country!
