Hi-VisUK is based in Hartlepool Borough Council’s new state of the art £4million Centre for Independent Living. This is an exciting time for Hi-VisUK. Our work with Hartlepool Council is showing substantial progress towards increasing support to older people with acquired dual sensory loss and acquired communication disorders.
Hi-VisUK is working with our In Good Hands Deafblind Support Project and a wide range of care and health organisations in the Tees Valley area so being based in the Centre is key. It is also the springboard for many national initiatives such as new training developments and some very exciting new projects – details as soon as possible!
